Help yourself to a complimentary warm or cold drink! On the counter in the lobby, there are mugs, coffee and creamer. Also, there is a fridge with an assortment of pop, juice + water. Enjoy your drink anywhere in the lobby or sanctuary as you await the start of the worship service at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary. Also, please consider completing a Connect Card that is in your welcome bag!

During our worship services, we try to keep things authentic and relevant. North Kent has four different elements in our worship services: a welcome, a time of prayer and praise, worship songs, and a sermon. The focus of our services is always on God and His son, Jesus. During the worship songs, we encourage people to sit or stand – however you feel most comfortable worshipping. Our worship leaders, Erin, Jana, and Joyanne, bring life and excitement every Sunday through a variety of songs. The worship service usually lasts between an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half.

North Kent believes that God is the Creator and only true God. Jesus Christ is the Messiah and son of God. The Holy Spirit is the presence of God, active in our lives. The Bible is our authority. For more information, click here, and grab a bite to eat with Josiah!

Food brings people together! That’s why we share a snack after every Sunday service. Snack, coffee, and other assorted cold drinks are always free!

From September through May, classes for all ages are available from 9:30 to 10:15 AM. 

Adult Class: Choose from two adult classes.  Class options and leaders rotate every five to ten weeks. Click the title to learn more.

North Kent is an elder-led congregation. Our elders, Kevin, Cheryl, Rick and Josiah, make spiritual decisions. Additionally, the elected cabinet makes spiritual and financial decisions for the church. For more information, click here.

Classes for teens and kids are offered on Sundays from 9:30 – 10:15 AM. During the worship service, we invite kids and teens to worship together with their families. There is an unstaffed nursery in the back of the sanctuary for parents and young children. There are also activity kits for kids available during the worship service at the back of the sanctuary.

North Kent is a casual church and we encourage you to wear whatever you feel most comfortable wearing.  Some people wear business casual clothes, while others wear jeans. There are no expectations as to what you wear to church. 

Yes! From September – March, we meet together in each others’ homes for appetizers and conversations on Thursday nights at 6:30.  We call this ministry “Home Group” and would love to have you! Talk with Josiah or view the information on the lobby table for home addresses and dates.
